KCOD Radio is College of the Desert’s first radio station.
Launched in Spring 2011, the students of Radio/TV Announcing (RTV2) class and the Student Journalists Society formed the college’s first terrestrial radio station — KCOD 1620 AM, or its call-sign KCOD.
KCOD broadcasts five days a week, from Monday through Friday, with live shows and pre-recorded broadcasts.
